DAY ONE: Saturday March 24th
Went fishing with Daddy. We went to four different lakes trying to find some fish to catch. We had success in Erie at Thomas. I am glad we got to have this time with Nathan since he has to study all Spring Break.

DAY TWO: Sunday March 25th
Elaine got pink eye on Thursday last week and I kept her and the kids home from Church so as not to spread it just in case she was still contagous. After this day she will be good to mingle. That evening the kids helped Nathan get the yard cleaned up for Spring.
DAY THREE: Monday March 26th
Change of plans. Instead of going to the Museum we went to a surprise birthday party for mommy's friend, then to the OB for mommy 28 week apt (which I had changed from the past friday to monday because of Elaine's pink eye), and then to a BBQ at our friends home for dinner
.DAY FOUR: Tuesday March 27th
Denver Botanical Gardens at York Street had its free day on this day and we went to check it out for the first time. We enjoyed walking the grounds and seeing Spring come to life. Our friends the Hughes caught up with us in the afternoon and we got to let the kids play at the Kids Garden area for a couple hours before heading home. I got some nice pictures of the kids.

DAY FIVE: Wednesday March 28th
Denver ZOO! Our annual pass expires at the end of March, so I had to make sure we fit in one last trip. IT WAS HARD TO FIND PARKING! We saw most of the animals and a sneek peek at the Elephants in their new exsibit from the construction fence. I let the kids ride the merry-go-round as a last time perk too. That night Nathan and I dropped the kids off at a friends home so we could go out on a Movie night date. We saw THE HUNGER GAMES. I fainted while exsiting the theater though and someone called 911, so I had to wait and have the paramedics check me out before I could go home. Fun :?

DAY SIX: Thursday March 29th
The kids went to their freinds home for a couple hours to have a playdate while I went to a meeting. They had lots of fun doing a water fight in their backyard. The afternoon was spent resting from the last couple days excitment. Later, their friends came over for a late night playdate at our house so their parents could go out on a date to see THE HUNGER GAMES.
DAY SEVEN: Friday March 30th
Denver Nature and Science Museum with daddy. I took it easy all morning, just resting and letting the kids play at home and watch movies. Nathan took the afternoon off to go with us to the museum, so I would be doing it alone (and I think because he wanted to make sure I wouldn't over do it and faint again). The kids loved doing the science labs with daddy this time. We had never done them before.

DAY EIGHT: Saturday March 31st
Lafayette Egg Hunt at Waneka Lake was a first for us. Each year the city puts on an egg hunt for kids 8 and under. It was wonderful (except for the moment when I lost track of Nancy in the crowd). SCARY! We also watched General Conference on the internet at home. ALWAYS WONDERFUL.

DAY NINE: Sunday April 1st
HAPPY APRIL FOOLS :) Played some jokes on family, was pranked by family too. Watched the 3rd and 4th sessions of General Conference on the internet at home. LOVED IT! Matthew didn't feel good this day and spent most of the day sleeping. He had some kind of 24 hour bug because it was gone by the next day.
DAY TEN: Monday April 2nd
Because I wasn't sure if Matthew was better yet, we stayed home and relaxed.
Day Eleven: Tuesday April 3d
REDBOX movies. Elaine looked like she was getting pink eye again, so we stayed home to fight it off. We rented Tooth Fairy 2 and A Mermaid Tale 2 and War Horse (that one was for Nathan and I). We popped popcorn, had treats, and layed out in the livingroom for a movie day. Relaxing before the kids have to return to school tomorrow.
Well I survived Spring Break. :)
