First we went down to the US MINT in Denver and waited in line for the tour. It wasn’t easy waiting in stand-by with three kids for over two hours, but it was a rare opportunity to take this tour before moving. There are only 5 US mints in the entire United States, with 3 of them being on the far upper east side of the country.

After we were done at the mint and the kids had the souvenir coins we moved on to the Downtown Denver Aquarium. Julia and Braden meet us at our parking spot by the mint and we all drove over together in her car to save on parking costs. Of course my camera had to die while we were there and now I carry with me a new pack at all times just in case. I hate missing the opportunity to capture family moments. Photos are my memory and journal. Lucky for me Julia had her camera and we were able to capture some more great moments.
