Utah Day Four
July 1, 2010
WATER FIGHT!!!!!!!!!! After searching the town for what seemed to be sold out summer time fun water guns, we went down to Discovery Park for some good old water fight fun. After a while us moms decided to join in on the fun of course. Good thing the dads were out doing their thing because it would have turned into a down pour of water.
All in all a great day until we came home for lunch and two of the cousin kids broke the glass in the patio table while trying to put up the umbrella for it. Of course all the kids were already sitting around the table eating when it happened, so Julia and I went hurrying outside to get all the kids. No one got hurt, but it wasa pain to clean up! Kassi went out and got a new one that Nathan and I put together. Good times.

Later that night (July 1st) we went back to the park to meet up with my brother Philip. My niece McKeltie was so loving to me instead of shy. She is such a sweet little girl. The kids had a lot of fun playing with each other.

Utah Day Three

A more relaxing day in the house today. The girls painted their nails as seen here. You know we wanted to look our best at the reunion. We also did a lot of shopping and preperations this day to get ready for the reunion.

Utah Day Two
June 29,2010
Today we went out into Provo Canyon to see Vivian Park where the family reunion would be on the weekend. We did some fishing in their little lake. Everyone had a great time. We stayed for a couple of hours, but soon we ran out of snacks and were getting hunry.

Took some photos while driving through Provo Canyon, since having to stop for a potty break was necessary.
David and Kassi treated everyone to In N Out for lunch.
Oh sweet mouth watering In N Out how I love you!

Made it to Utah

Awe we finally made it to David’s (Nathan’s brother) house!!!! It took us forever to drive there. SO TIRED! This time we traveled in a carpool with Julia (Nathan’s sister). We used walkie talkies to communicate the whole way. We only stopped for gas and bathroom needs. We left at around 5 in the morning from Julia’s house. For the most part the children all slept. Nathan was excited to see his mom and family again who live in other states. The children got along better than expected and all in all had a great time with their cousins.

During the last few weeks in June before we moved out we spent time out with our neighbors in the sun. I am truly going to miss living in the family housing community at CU. We have made some great friends while there and will really miss them. Even now as I caught up with my blog over a month after we have left my children ask if we can go back. They loved their house and friends. I hope that our new home with turn out to be enough for them.

Well this was our last day in our apartment. The Lord blessed us with much help to move out of our 3rd story apartment. The job was done in like two hours and then taken over to our storage unit and unloaded in no time. Thank you Ryan, Brian, Lewis Family, Missionaries, Jackson Family and Kelly for all your help. Thank you Sister Hoyt For coming and cleaning with us and the lovely fruit basket. Staci you’re amazing for making that traveling bag for my kids….THEY LOVED IT and it kept them so entertained!!!! I miss Boulder already and all my good friends and being close to family in other cities!!! Keep in touch.
